Rogue Traders Operating in the Area 🚨 We have received reports of rogue traders targeting residents locally, offering services such as roofing, driveway repairs, gardening, or other home improvements. 🔧 These individuals often: - Knock on doors claiming urgent repairs are needed
- Offer “today only” deals or discounted work
- Ask for cash payments upfront
- Carry out poor quality or incomplete work

- Do not agree to work on the spot
- Never hand over cash or bank details
- Use trusted and vetted traders (e.g. Trading Standards approved schemes such as Checkatrade or TrustMark)
- Speak to family or neighbours before making decisions
